We recently received a note from Judy asking if we could send her a map that would show the area we are visiting. We thought it was such a good idea that we would put one here as well. Here is a map of the Iringa area with all of the sites we are visiting marked with red circles. The Iringa District is approximately 200 miles diagonally. From Iringa town to Ipolamwa is about 50 miles. This may not seem like much, but the speed limit on most of the roads is about 30 mph (50 kilometers per hour) and you probably can not go that fast once you get off of the pavement (about 80% of your driving). For example, we just drove the 78 kilometers (about 50 miles) from Iringa to Kivalamo (look south-southeast to find it) and it took a little over 2.5 hours - and we were pushing it. There have been times when this trip has taken us 3.5 hours. Hope you find it interesting.
